• Testosterone caproate is an androgen and anabolic steroid and a testosterone ester.
• It binds to an androgen receptor located in the cytoplasm of the cell. From there, the hormone-receptor couple diffuses into the nucleus where it modifies gene expression or activates processes that send signals to other parts of the cell.
