• Abamectin is an active substance of phytopharmaceutical product, which has an insecticide, acaricide and nematicide effect. It is a mixture of several chemicals of the avermectin family.
• Avermectins bind to the glutamate-gated chloride channels present in the nerve and muscle cells of invertebrates. They cause hyperpolarization of these cells, resulting in paralysis and death.
