Acide tranexamique
API
N° CAS 1197-18-8
Antihemorrhagics
- Tranexamic acid develops an antihemorrhagic action by inhibiting the fibrinolytic activities of plasmin.
- White or Almost white crystalline powder.
- It blocks the binding of the lysine residue of fibrin by plasmin, the enzyme responsible for fibrinolysis. The normal action of plasmin to dissolve the clot is thus blocked.
