• Benzydamine hydrochloride is a salt of benzydamine. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), belonging to the indazole chemical class.
• White or almost white crystal powder.
• The action of benzydamine on local inflammation phenomena is manifested by a reduction in vascular permeability; a decrease in oedema and exudative reactions; and finally a sedation of inflammatory pain.
