• Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to lower intraocular pressure.
• White or slightly pale yellow powder.
• The inhibition of carbonic anhydrase in the ciliary processes of the eye decreases the secretion of aqueous humor and thus lowers the intraocular pressure in the anterior chamber.
