- Satiagel UHT 18 is an optimized blend of kappa and iota carrageenans which can form a transparent and elastic gel with thixotropic properties.
- Creamy-white to light brown powder.
- Gelation of carrageenan is particularly enhanced by the presence of potassium. It induces gel formation at very low concentrations creating a strong and brittle gel.
