• Apraclonidine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt form of apraclonidine, a clonidine derivative with selective alpha-2-adrenergic agonist properties.
• White or very pale yellow crystal powder.
• When administered directly into the eye, it increases aqueous humor outflow and decreases aqueous humor production by vasoconstriction.
