• Dorzolamide hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of dorzolamide, a potent inhibitor of carboni anhydrase II.
• White or very pale yellow crystal powder.
• It reduces elevated intraocular pressure, whether or not associated with glaucoma. It does not cause pupillary constriction and reduces intraocular pressure without side effects such as night blindness and accommodation spasms.
