• Fexofenadine hydrochloride is the hydrchloride salt form of fexofenadine, a fast-acting, long-acting H1 antihistamine.
• White or very pale yellow crystal powder.
• It is a selective peripheral H1 antagonist. This antagonist prevents the activation of H1 receptors by histamine, thus preventing the onset of symptoms associated with allergies.
