• Levocabastine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt form of levocabastine, a synthetic derivative of piperidine.
• It is a second-generation histamine-1 receptor antagonist. When applied topically to the eye as a solution, it reduces itching, rhinorrhea and symptoms of allergic rhinitis or conjunctivitis.
