• Fomoterol fumarate dihydrate is a salt of fomoterol which is a selective beta-2 agonist.
• White or almost white or slightly yellow powder. Soluble in mathanol, slightly soluble in water and in 2-propanol, pratically insoluble in acetonitrite
• It induces bronchial smooth muscle relaxation during bronchoconstriction. It produces a rapid and long-lasting bronchodilator effect.
