• Glibornuride is a second generation sulfonylurea molecule.
• White or Almost white crystalline powder.
• It appears to acutely lower blood glucose levels by stimulating insulin release from the pancreas, this effect being dependent on the presence of beta-active cells in the pancreatic islets.
