Antifungals for dermatological use

• Econazol nitrate is the nitrate salt form of econazol, an antifungal agent of the imidazole family.
• White or Almost white crystalline powder.
• It will inhibit 14-alpha demethylase which is responsible for the transformation of lanosterol into ergosterol. Which represents 30% of the plasma membrane and ensures the growth, fluidity and integrity of the membrane.
