Nizatidine is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist that inhibits gastric acid production.
White or very pale yellow crystal powder.
Its action is competitive and completely reversible. It significantly inhibits basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion, reducing both gastric secretory volume and pepsin content.
