  • Ramipril is a member of the enzyme conversion inhibitor family.
  • White or almost white crystalline powder. Sparingly soluble in water and freely soluble in ethanol.
  • Ramiprilat, the active metabolite of the ramipril promolecule, inhibits the enzyme dipeptidylcarboxypeptidase I (synonyms: angiotensin-converting enzyme; kininase II).
