• Cefpirome Sulfate is the sulfate form of cefpirome, a semisynthetic, broad-spectrum, fourth-generation cephalosporin with antibacterial activity.
• White or Almost white crystalline powder.
• It binds to and inactivates penicillin-binding proteins located on the inner membrane of the bacterial cell wall. This leads to weakening of the bacterial cell wall and causes cell lysis.
